Now, lets compare it to Miss Mayhem. Not so hot- sorry Rachel Hawkins. I expected something more.... strong and feminine. And loads better.
Definitely not a Prom Queen statue or whatever holding a whatever that is.
I will give her some points for the pretty pastel color, rose petals, and font. Otherwise though, yuck.
I was thinking maybe a high heel embedded in a wall or something, because that's how Dr. DuPont is killed by Harper in the first book. Hopefully, the cover is symbolic and it means something really awesome and our minds are blown in a OMG-Rachel-We-Love-You-You're-A-Freaking-Genius way. But I am highly doubtful of that incident happening. Us readers had the bar set higher for the second cover, but, it's inside what counts.
The title is adorable, and perfect though. And why does it say best-selling author of the Hex Hall series?! WE CARE ABOUT REBEL BELLE! And Dexter in School Spirits too!
Needless to say, I will be rushing to Barnes and Noble as soon as it hits stores, no questions asked, whether it has an ugly cover or not.
Rating {Cover} of Rebel Belle: ★★★★★
Rating {Cover} of Miss Mayhem: ★★☆☆☆
And if you haven't read Rebel Belle, WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE?! Run like your butt is on fire to the bookstore or the library!
P.S.: Where can I buy the Rebel Belle necklace? SO. CUTE!!!
