Reading:
* I want to explore classics, unknown novels, and books I've been telling myself that I'll read later.
This year, on Goodreads, I planned to read 100 books- a very small yearly goal for me. Last year, I read over 200 books, and that's just what I posted! But I want this year to be chock-full of meaningful reading.
*Dedicate a solid time for reading. I'm always reading in little bits of time- and they all add up, but I'd like to dedicate a twenty minutes or so before bed.
Writing:
*Finish one short story or novella. I get so many ideas for stories, but quit about half a chapter in. So, I'd like to finish at least one and show it to some people for feedback too.
*Have one piece published. I've had some pieces of mine published before, but they were only very small things. I'd like to publish a book, even it's by self publishing.
School:
*Focus. I tend to drift off sometimes during school, and I plan to fix that.
*Procrastination. I'm a pro and procrastination, and I want to stop that. I want to do my assignments when I get them, and do them so I get an A+ without stress. When I do it at the last minute I still get a good grade, but I still want to stop that.
Blogging:
*Do at least one blog post per day. This seems a little bit extreme, since at max I do one post per week, but all successful blogs have at least one post per day.
*Improve my vocabulary. My vocabulary on my blog tends to be repetitive and bland, so fixing that is one of my priorities.
*Lengthier posts. A majority of my posts are sup[er short and contain no pictures- I want them to be more engaging.
Lifestyle:
*Become Healthy. I loveeee food, but I've been telling myself "next year will be my healthy year." But it's never been! So my goal this year is to eat more healthy foods.
*Exercise. Along with being healthy, this has been a "maybe next year," sort of goal. My dog and I go could running together- she's turning into a little pill bug!
*Manage Stress. I don't want to over load myself this year, so yup!
*Volunteer More Often. I love volunteering, but I feel that I just don't do it often enough.
